PAYING HOMAGE

This direction is inspired by the history of motion design and pays homage to the influential work of various artists such as Oskar Fischinger, Len Lye, and Eadweard Muybridge. This will be presented as a cyclical story that marries both traditional (stop motion, cell animation, as well as traditional animation toys such as a phenakistiscope and flipbook) and modern animation technology (Ae), eluding to the idea that art and design comes full circle, and will always draw some inspiration from art history.
